Agnes Milewski

Agn?s Milewski (born July 30, 1983 in Knur?w, Poland) is an Austrian singer-songwriter who writes and sings in English with an endearing German accent. She moved from Poland to Austria with her parents at the age of four, and studied piano and classical guitar as a child. Agn?s cites Joni Mitchell, Tori Amos, Kate Bush, Bj?rk and Jorane as influences. Her lyrics are intelligent and poetic, her melodies progressive yet accessible. Her self-released debut EP, Chasing the Wind is in limited supply, sold only by Agn?s at her live performances or through her website to European residents.

She has released two full lenght albums so far, Pretty Boys and Ugly Girls (2007) and Learn to Swim (2009).
