Heather Hill born (Heather Pirie) in Woodstock, Ontario Canada, is a singer-songwriter who writes songs in both the pop and folk genres. Her influences include the Beatles, Elton John, and Joni Mitchell. Her sound is reminiscent of Tori Amos with hints of Aimee Mann and Kate Bush. Her debut album in 2005 was called "Listen" and was recorded in NYC by Steve Addabbo (prod. Suzanne Vega, Shawn Colvin). She is launching her second album, entitled "Leuty Station", in February 2012 in Toronto.
