Tampa Bay Rock four-piece, Harrydash, hits hard with a fusion of influences from ?60's British Invasion straight up rock n' roll, ALA The Who and The Stones with a modern influx of early Radiohead, U2 and Muse with a dash of Greenday. The result is an Anglo/American rock force with songs that keep you hooked from beginning to end and a live show that fills the void in an often mundane musical landscape. Rich Wise (England), Josh Maloney (Indiana), Richie Reitter (N.
arolina), and Steve Dube (FL- born and raised!) form one of Tampa's consistently largest drawing bands with a growing legion of fans throughout the South East due to successful touring with bands such as Flogging Molly, Something Corporate, and All American Rejects to name a few.
In 2003, after hearing one of the bands EP's produced by Jim Wirt (Hoobastank, Incubus) and PJ Smith (Something Corporate), national booking agency APA took the band under their wing in an unprecedented move making HD the sole independent band on their roster. With APA onboard and the ability to immediately captivate new audiences, the future looks rock solid for HD.
Early 2005, sees the band ready to release it's second independent full length album ?Momentum'. A 16 song rock rollercoaster that combines a multitude of musical emotions from fun and reckless to thoughtful and obscure. Starting with a song about addiction (Sugar High) and ending with political satire (Tank), it's the bands finest work no doubt. An album that could take North America by Storm? Well yes, but the South East gets the first shot! And with the news that HD's music video Sugar High will be distributed and presented at Can't Dance '05 during the Sundance Film Festival, 2005 is already off to a killer start.
