Hand Me Down Buick was started in 2003 as 'Random House' with a very unstable line up, no one knew what instrument they wanted to play. A few months later they changed their name to Hand Me Down Buick, named after guitarist Mark's buick. They released their first song recorded and released was entitled I've Seen Funnier Hunting Accidents. Then Jon Wubbanon was added to the mix with his copious amounts of shredding he changed hand me down buick for the better.
The band kept playing shows and working hard. Hand Me Down Buick was more affiliated with the Hardcore Scene more than the jersey pop rock scene. HMDB buick was seen more on bills of hardcore shows than pop punk shows. Hand Me Down Buick later released a 4 song EP, featuring awesome songs such as A Cup of Coffee on Heroin. It was evident that Hand Me Down Buick was working hard by the amazing sound from the EP. That summer they went on a short tour in places in the north east and canada. Then tragedy struck the band when Mark left for personal reasons. This was in the midst of recording their newest songs. When hope seem to diminish, JP from invinsible when invisible came to the rescue with his awesomeness, even though he went to a lame private school. The band now is working hard to go on tour this summer with their new solid line up. Hand Me Down Buick is starting to turn heads from coast to coast.
