HAL9000

Although we had been playing since 1995, Hal9000 actually was born in 1998. Then we start to write our own music following our influences and thinking in the recording of an album. In 1999 we could record, with our home's computer, our first demo with 7 songs. We kept writting songs until 2001, when we already had 19 songs and we recorded them in another demo, thanks to 964studios. From that, we selected 10 songs and composed 2 more to our first album "A New Hope".

The recording sessions began at the beginning of 2002 and after a long process of post-production and mix, we were able to release it in May 2003. With this album we just wanted to show our creations with the highest quality of sound available to us. We have always tried to make the best of ourselves in composition and in live performance, showing no other thing but sincerity and doing what musically is in our souls.
