Guajiro

Guajiro (Pronounced "War Hero" in Gringo...), are a Hialeah Florida based rock band, comprised of exilios from Cuba, Puerto Rico, and Long Beach. Each member comes to the table with a dream of recreating the music they left behind in their former projects, such as Slapshot, Speak 714, and Friction Wheel. A combination of Classic Rock, '77 English punk, and 80's Latin Rock, Guajiro hopes to bring back the energy and soul that has been lost to major label executive influence and heavy handed pro-tool production.

Guajiro's aspirations are to create creditable albums that will stand the test of time and build a loyal fan base that are looking for honest, straight to the point, no bullshit music. They do songs in English, Spanish and in most cases "Espanglish", a combo of both.
