Located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Go! started as a instrumental Surf Music Revival band in 2000.
The trio, Bj?rn (electric guitar), Ingo (bass guitar and vocals) and Vicente (drums), started as an instrumental band and, after recording a demo CD, released their first record in 2001, entitled Aventura Sob o C?u. The album included a version of the video game theme Ninja Gaiden II, plus other catchy tracks such as O Mestre do Arcade, Rockman e Destrua o Meu Chip Quando Eu Morrer.
The band took a long break from recordings while played in several locations and became a constant presence at the Primeiro Festival Mineiro de Surf - a Surf Music Festival that takes place in Belo Horizonte every year.
In 2007 they released their second album, Nas Ondas do R?dio, where they experimented far more with vocals and pop melodies. Go! went from soundtrack band to catchy radio band, without forgeting their surf background, but sounding less like Man or Astroman?, and more like Bomboras and Autoramas (another surf music band from Rio de Janeiro).
