Garrett Fisher

Garrett Fisher (Michigan, 1970) is an American composer. He studied composition and piano at the University of Oberlin. Today he lives in Seattle. His composition style is essentially homophonic and harks back to the 11th century, before the advent of polyphony, giving his compositions a medieval sound. Fisher has his own ensemble, The Fisher Ensemble (www.fisherensemble.org).
