Gaia13, born Jim Baltz, hails from Saint Louis, Missouri USA, and graduated from the University of Oregon in 1998 with a Bachelors degree, majoring in Anthropology and World Music. His style is a mix of lush trip-hop, ambient, earth-rooted grooves and experimental rhythms combined with drum n bass style beats.
