In the beggining.. From Day One started in late 2010 After Drummer Josh Derflinger and singerMatt Kearly met at gamestop. Soon after a mutual friend guitarist Andrew Dozier. The band started as a angst filled pop punk/punk band that participated in the act of damnit covers the band recorded their first song entitled "until the end" at mchenry county college, the song was a more slow punk song that made the band what it is now.
the three were so disappointed with the recording that they decided
that upping the ante and adding a guitarist would help.
In the process...
Soon after the song until the end was recorded bassist Eric Aguilar was
originally recruited as a second guitar player in the group, making it
a poppy version of a metal song foursome. Within a few months the band
gathered the three songs that they had played for many practices and recorded
them with Ryan Corocan. Who also produced the record. The ep was great, it's
octave patters would make a small midget cry and a large zebra shake his hips.
With the strive to "amp up" the recordings lead and rhythm parts were added. With
this a new guitarist needed to be recruited. Soon after the release of the self titled
ep guitarist Ryan Darbro was reqruited bumping Eric to bass and matt to lead vocals
and keys. The addition of Ryan was like a world war two morale poster.
