Fires Were Shot

Fires Were Shot is a Texas-based guitar duo concentrating in folk-drone and ambient music. Founded in 1998, the band quickly released debut "Form the Hearth" on FWS imprint It's Only Me Records, followed by "Solace" in early 2004. Solace gathered modest critical acclaim and helped the group see a wider audience, due to distribution through experimental label Asphodel Ltd. In January 2011, FWS will release "Awakened by a Lonely Feud" on Austin label Quiet Design Records.
