Fattback

Fattback joined forces in a flooded St. Louis, Mo basement in in early 2005. Originally named "Hot Lava", and briefly "Basement Snake", Fattback formed as a reuniting of musicians and friends who had played together in one way or another several years previous. Fattback has created a sound that can go from roots rock, to synth-driven power pop, to honky-tonk, to funk and more. Rich harmonies, and often hilarious lyrics seal the deal for the St. Louis natives, who when asked to describe themselves, came up only with "...moose rock".
