Fairlight Children
Genre:
Pop/Rock

Fairlight Children is an electroclash side project from Stephan Groth of Apoptygma Berzerk. The band has two other members, Tiff and Marianne, whose potential participation level beyond backing vocals has not been publicly discussed. The band name was inspired by the vintage digital synthesizer Fairlight CMI, considered by many to be the quintessential sound of the 1980s. Another nod goes to the Fairlight computer scene group that produced demos on the Commodore 64 computer (and also took its name from the synth).
