Expretus

There is no concrete style Expretus fits in. The idea was and is still to make music in an overlapping and experimental manner. Influences and elements of different genres should have a significant effect on the work of the musicians. Guest musicians are welcome. In the last five years the band has built their own niche, which could be characterized as a homogenous mixture of wave, rock and industrial. The distinguishing mark of the songs is their intensity, which makes them to bit tightly in your head. Because of the charismatic voice of Andr Alabaster the songs get an unmistakable charme.

The gigs of the band will carry you away. Expretus have played in nearly all clubs of Dresden, Saxony and also in some bigger clubs in Germany and Europe. So they did some shows at the 9th Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig, in France and the Czech Republik. The band has drawn attention throughout Germany with their concerts and the debut album "Gezeitenrausch". Expretus gave a lot interviews, got reviews in magazins and the radio and was content of a TV report.

The well developed and athmospherical live program often contains elements like video projections, an attuned lightshow and clothes specially made for the stage. Therefore the band works together with different artists, a costume designer, photographers, grafic- and webdesigners and lightning engineers. The so existing working group has coined and developed the appereance of Expretus.
