Eric Chapelle was born in Sucy-en -Brie, a suburb of Paris, He migrated to the United States at the age of seven, and since that time, he has lived in California, India, and now in Texas. Chapelle has performed his original compositions around the U.S. for many years. He has created soundtracks for television, film, and commercials and dance. Chapelle released "Our Time" in 1998. In 2002, he produced the album Heart Aid Project, which was released on the Spring Hill Music label.
Across the Water is his new 2010 album release, with collaborations with musicians Julia Cory, cellist, Dawn Biega, cellist, and John Inmon, guitarist with Jimmy Lafave, and Eliza Gilkyson.
