Edin Bosnjak

My name is Edin Bosnjak and I'm 19 years old - born August 3rd 1986. I'm a producer and DJ. , Since the age of 7 (or something like that) I've been interested in music. Well it was at that age when I really started to play instruments etc. but my interest in music actually began earlier. As I come from a family who is very in to music, music has been a part of my life from the day I was born, basically.

My brother, Emir Bosnjak, tought me a lot about music - when I was 15-16 years old he actually was my teacher at the conservatirum in Aarhus, Denmark teaching me to play the accordion. I play a wide range of instruments such as the accordion (as mentioned before), the guitar, the piano, the drums, and more.


My breakthrough was with my track Illusions, which I back then sent to Giorgio Ponticelli who liked it and played it on his show, Frequencies. This was of course very exciting for me to hear my track being played by a famous DJ and even on di.fm which I've been listening to in years - it's hard to describe how I felt but I was happy, that's sure. What surprised me even more was that Judge Jules liked it as well and played it in clubs and on Radio BBC - twice, actually. Other very talented DJ's like Pascal P also played the track.
The track can also be found on the Danceland 2 compilation, out in England.

Then came Ventura, which again got played by Giorgio Ponticelli to begin with. Was a success (and still is) so I contacted some labels. Shortly after, John Wright (Connected Music), contacted me telling me that he really likes the track and that Connected wants to sign it - wow. Well, John has been playing it really much and has been his favorite, think it still is.
Every track has their little story etc. but I just thought those two were worth mentioning.
