TRIPLE ENTENDRES is an almost uninterrupted fifty minute voyage.. An unconscious voyage with Emmanuelle Orange as our guide... In ? AUBE ? (The Break of Day...), Emmanuelle Orange proposes that we first modify our body and soul. She then takes our wings and sticks them to her own back... ? APHRODITE ET V?NUS ? is a double-body femme fatale that soon multiplies herself to infinity and then simply dissolves in thin air. At the end of the song, Emmanuelle sings the chorus for a last time while walking away from us. She leaves us alone for a moment in an unknown sonic landscape.

She returns, questioning her own destiny, taking us as her witnesses. (? MAMA?, sung in Chinese Mandarin)
She then raises her head and ? LES HAUTES PROFONDEURS DU CIEL? (? THE DEEP PEAKS OF HEAVEN?), a bilingual hymn, a prayer to the stars that look down at our unhappy planet. (The text used here is a very little known poem by the well known french-canadian poet Gilles Vigneault)
We then pause by a little brook, over which soon appears the electronic brook.
? PIALOUSHKA ? is nonsense making sense of itself, by itself.
Emmanuelle then tells us the LECTURE OF LECTURES, the lecture of Whom is living in the slowest rythm, very near us, but out of our reach.
(? WE THE PEOPLE ? et ? SERPENT ?)
? LE PICHET ?
Everybody knows the weird feeling of "dreaming to be awake"???
Thats when our eyes open and show their teeth.
And at the end of chaos, there is the NANOGARDEN in which Emmanuelle wanders, whispersinging under her ?CIEL DE LIMACE?.
This voyage comes to an end when Emmanuelle stops and sits under the Six Fingers Tree....
"Je reconnais chez toi
Cet ar?me d?licat
D'une terre qui d?j?
Ouvre ? ma s?ve ses bras"
Eden106 is the words and voice of Emmanuelle Orange, metaphorical music of fellow musicians Guy Pelletier (live electronics), Jean-Philippe Savard (drums), Mathieu Deschenaux (double bass), Simon Duchesne (guitars) and videoclip creator Fran?ois Blouin (live video scratching).
Eden106 have been developing its unconventional approach to modern music since 2000. While there has been a lot of studio work mainly for creating music tracks for film: Maelstr?m, l'Ange de Goudron, Un crabe dans la t?te, etc., Eden106 prefer by far the direct encounter with the public. Their first album TRIPLE ENTENDRES can be considered a consequence of those encounters.
EDEN106's blending of musical styles makes pigeon-holing them difficult. Some witnesses will refer to "chanson", or "electronic music", or "non-tonal music" or "bent pop".... But all come out of their shows refueled with mental images.
In words and in music, Eden106 put forward a singular approach to pop music, but, oddly, an approach that people can assimilate.
