Dreemtime is creating a new a new genre of music called New York Lounge funk which they define as: Uniting lounge infused soul music with a touch of modern funk.
Their latest project was mixed and executive produced by "Bassy" Bob Brockman, who has worked with Sade, Prince, Anita Baker, Herbie Hancock, James Brown, The Fugees, and a host of other artists.
Jesse Murphy formerly of the Brazilian Girls lent his bass playing skills and Ramsey Jones, the older brother of Old Dirty Bastard played drums on the album.
?New York Lounge Funk? is set to become an instant classic.
Dreamy was the debut album and there have also been four re mixes worldwide too:
'Drive Away-4mula Dance floor' Sisco-The Gentleman Players Re mix' Drive away-The Gentleman Players Re mix' and Mark Summers Scorccio- re mix of 'Bagels & Cow Boy Hats'. Dreemtime also have their second Phil Driver Soul Unsigned Licence with 'Night & Day' as well as Scorccios Dreamy' and Soul Unsigned Volume 1.

How Dreemtime begain:

In 1993, Klive D'Farley walked away from his job working for an influential Investment banker and his wife in London. With tremendous support from his former boss, he taught himself to play piano and took off to the French countryside to write. After a short partnership with Phatline Publishing in London, D'Farley landed in New York City and continued to compose. James Larsen of International Creative Management put D'Farley in touch with soul singer Maya Azucena. Drawing from musical and personal experience,
DREEMTIME'S first album, Dreamy, recorded in Takuya Nakamura's Brooklyn studio. In January 2007, the twelve tracks debuted and a new genre, New York Lounge Funk was born. Each song unfolds into ethereal harmonies that pulse above steady Latin percussion and sexy, sophisticated electronics but always with live instrumentation whether it's Brass Sections or Orchestral Pieces by the great Marek Harris.
