Dr. Zoltan ?belisk is a character created by musician, writer, and graphic designer Carl King, also the creator of Sir Millard Mulch. It is uncertain where the persona of Sir Millard Mulch ends and Dr. Zoltan begins, or what the relationship is between the two. Carl has referred to the character of Mulch as a "Stretched-Out Old Sack of Faulty Meme Fluid" and has indicated that he is growing tired of the Mulch persona.

In early 2007, the persona of Mulch appeared in 3 low-quality webcam videos recorded on his laptop under the name of Dr. Zoltan ?belisk, and narrated a batch of brief, roughly-edited essays entitled, "Tool Are Not Weird Or Dark," "The White Stripes Must Be Destroyed," and, "Coheed & Cambria Are Not Prog Rock." The videos were posted to YouTube and Myspace and received an overwhelmingly negative response. A 4th video soon followed, which revealed that the previous three videos were a marketing test.
As of May 2007, the creation of the debut Dr. Zoltan album and a supposed music textbook has been announced. No release date has been set. A recent Dr. Zoltan blog stated, "The supposed musicians in bands like Meshuggah, Dream Theater, and Dillinger Escape Plan will put down their instruments and cry when they realize how easy it was for me to annihilate their cheap math-rock clich?s." The album will be executive produced by John La Grou.
