With unshakable vibe and a strong, healthy pulse, these vagabonds from WA's alternative capital of Fremantle jam-pack a double-bass, drums, percussion, acoustic & electric guitars, ukulele, mandolin, melodica, tin-whistle and three-part vocal harmonies into songs influenced by various sounds from around the globe encompassing Celtic folk, flamenco, reggae and Afro-beat.
Awarded Best World Music Act at the 2007 WA music awards, Double Entendre have been working up a sweat among the crowds of WA, touring and playing shows regularly in Perth and the South-West including festivals such as Blues at Bridgetown, The Lakes, WAMi, Nannup and Fairbridge Festival alongside acts such as Blue King Brown, Eskimo Joe, eMDee and The Whitlams.
This year Double Entendre are embarking on a massive 8-month debut national tour, which will take them to the remote areas of WA and the Northern Territory and then down the East-coast to join the festival circuit.
