Bio / Background
'Le Voyage du Temps' is Allen Brunelle's 1st electronic music/new age release under the pseudonym, Tempustry. Tempustry is a name Allen created from the Latin word for time, 'tempus', and the postfix, -try, meaning 'the study of'. Allen has been studying time for more than 25 years. As a percussionist and drummer, Allen's number one responsibility has been to 'keep time' and to be the rhythmic force behind bands of many genres. 'Le Voyage du Temps' marks the first time Allen has been able to share melodies that have been long trapped in his mind.
'Le Voyage du Temps' has only one intent - to be an uplifting, relaxing, and peaceful listening experience. Liquid melodies set the ebb and flow of each composition. Orchestration, at times minimal and ambient, evolves and builds in positive reinforcement of monophonic synthesizer leads. All the while, an analog drum synthesizer and electronic percussion propel each song to its respective denouement.
