Great progressive and ethereal rock & metal with message, emotion & angst. Poetic lyrics, intersting harmonies, brilliant arrangements & great chops like Rush, Dream Theater, and Pink Floyd.
Bio / Background
In July of 2001 multi-instrumentalist/songwriter, Kurt Tischer and Drummer/Percussionist, David Clark met as unsuspecting members of a recording session for an otherwise low key demo project that would become the catalyst for what is now Temple 8. By October 2001 the first few Temple 8 songs were streaming from music websites all over the Internet and garnering attention from fans in America and even moreso in Europe.
Temple 8 hits a Home Run with their apt titled debut, "Enter The Temple", using poetic and politically charged lyrics to illustrate the stark state of world affairs, driving toward spiritual awakening, all laid out and wrapped around a superb epic musical platform.
Let these anonymous comments and reviews from listeners all over the Internet speak for themselves:
"BAM ! THIS ROCKS!", "Defies tradition...", "Driving riffage...", "Thick and chunky...", "Rockin' Epic...", "Exciting!", "Stadium ready...", "This screams dynamics..."
"Full of melodic chords and vibe...

"Much more put together than many bands out in the professional market."
"Powerhouse!!! --
Wow ...the intro blew me away and really got my attention. Great production work. Nice guitar and melody. Interesting harmonies. Brilliant arrangement, everyone is tight. You've got some good dynamics in there as well."
"Mellow Machine --
Relaxing inflection of a completely self asorbed machine. Kinda Floyd-ish with a touch of Symphony X."
"This stuff is amazing! Great talented musicians! Reminiscent of Tool or Rush done with originality."
"Holy smokes! I like this a lot. It has the chingy-changy intro and interludes of the Boomtown Rats (not to mention a Geldolf-ian rap), the vocals of a DeYoung/Geddy Lee hybrid and ripping bass lines."
