Missouri Mule Records is proud to announce the release of Makin' a Living, Not a Killing (MM 0003), the latest effort from Supe duJour. Upon his 1990 arrival in Nashville, Tennessee from his native home in the Show-Me state, the affable Supe began to assemble a band of Nashville cats to play his off-beat, left of center, repertoire.
Though a founding, as well as current, member of the Ozark Mountain Daredevils, the Artist Formerly Known as Michael Granda steps into the spotlight with a 13 song exploration of the high evergy influence a St. Louis upbringing had on his music. "I like all kinds of music, just as long as it is uptempo, spirited, and light hearted", says Supe, of his wild-eyed approach. "If you want to hear slow songs about heart break and sorrow, go listen to someone else.
