Bio / Background
Aaron Martin lives and records in Topeka, Kansas. After playing guitar for a number of years, Aaron decided to learn the cello at the age of 17. While earning a cello performance degree in college, he started to record film music. Using every instrument he could get his hands on, composing and recording music quickly became a perfect vehicle for Aaron to express his perspective of the world. After recording for several years, he started using a looper pedal to play music live. Aaron Martin's debut album "Almond," released by the Australian label Preservation, documents that music. Aaron is also an active member of the free-form collective Cantus Firmus, and has recently collaborated with Machinefabriek. He is currently recording arrangements for New York songwriter Jason Bacasa's debut on Preservation, recorded under the musical alias Tan or Boil.
Sudan is keen on forests, coffee and French Polynesia. They currently reside and record in Brooklyn, New York.
