Stephan Plummer has such a broad range of musical influences that it crosses all styles and genres from soul, rhythm and blues, gospel to ballads but at the bottom of it all is a soulful heartfelt message.
Her lyrics are as impressive as her varied vocals. She can belt out a ballad and then keep the listener spellbound with a whisper. As an added bonus, she is also an accomplished rhythm guitarist who can accompany herself and others brilliantly.
Born in Patsy Clines hometown of Winchester, Virginia, one can almost hear the rich timber of Ms. Clines effortless vocals in Stephan's voice. Somehow it seems fitting that two strong and talented women should come from the same roots.
Stephan's roots in music are deep and broad. She is the 12th child of 13 in a musically gifted family. One family member even played as a regular musician for the Grand 'Ole Opry.
Stephan has been writing, playing guitar and performing since the age of 9.
