Oomph! In what may be the salsa sleeper of 2003, salsero Bobby Rivas delivers a explosive right hook that will knock the dancers off their chairs and onto the dancefloor...they will not know what hit them.

With powerful voice with a timber resembling something between Ray De La Paz and Oscar D'Leon, Mr. Rivas throws fireballs left and right, so watch your hair.

This band is bright, crisp, and finely-tuned to get the most out of the dancers. The coro has that Colombian nasal twang reminiscent of Gale or Fruko. It works very well here.

"Fresas Con Chocolate," which opens as a simple Cumbia, turns into a sizzling salsa. And listen to "Manuela" with a fire extinguisher nearby.
