Post-modern, Classical-Crossover, mixing genres, styles and instruments (electric and acoustic) to create harmony and dissonance, soul and machine.
Bio / Background
"February" was recorded at the A.D. White House at Cornell University, Ithaca New York in the winter of 2004.
Ritsu is a violinist that has performed classical acoustic repertoire with symphony orchestras as well as electric original music with electric bass and drum kits.
Influences include Japanese noise bands, Stravinsky, Shostakovich and Prokofiev, Tibetan Buddhist chanting and throat singing, Hendrix, Page, and the Ramones.
Currently composing, performing and living in Central Pennsylvania- recent performances at Bucknell University, Lycoming College and SUNY Buffalo. Composing dance scores and film scores.
