Rick Steffen introduced his maverick style of songwriting and refreshing musical style that was the forerunner of Nashville's "New Country" music back in 1986. This merging of Florida & Nashville music is the first of 4 albums.

Steffen's performance and songwriting versatility has treated audiences throughout the Florida Shoreline to this unique blend of Island, Country, & Pop sounds for almost three decades.
This first album "Love & Escape", boasts some of Nashville's best musicians & singers RE-RELEASED and now containing 3 new songs that continue with it's title Love & Escape.
His country style and performances poolside in the Florida Resort scene have helped to evolved the music and lyric directions into a style all his own.
Love & Escape is CD extra now featuring the Rick Steffen photo scrapbook that spanS a good segment of his music career in Key West and Florida on slide show CD Extra! This means that your CD player sees the Music CD and if inserted in your computer, it sees an auto run slide show of pictures. Getting to know Rick through these pictures is truely a rare treat and Rick's sunset collection is inspiring.
