Bio / Background
No Go Know is a visionary new three-piece band based out of Portland, Oregon. With members playing together in an array of outfits over the past decade, the group possesses an indelible sense of balance and a deep capacity for innovation. No Go Know is held together by a smattering love of noise rock, subtle funk rhythms and fluid songwriting, which they seamlessly merge into their own brave sound. Their penchant for the expletory and improvisational allow the group to bypass all limitations of genre and style while still retaining the cohesion of a singular vision.
Their self-titled debut was recorded over the course of one month in October of 2006. All instruments were tracked live with no overdubs - vocals were later added at Adam Pike's Toadhouse studios, who then mixed and mastered the album. Artwork and design by Kelly Neidig.
