Bio / Background
Emerging from the outskirts of Philadelphia, MorningSide works to bring their music to the masses. The songs are a reflection of their personalities exploring past experiences and future dreams. Though the sound is their own, it strikes a familiar chord with all who hear it.
MorningSide began in 2001 with childhood friends Sean MacGregor (Vocals/Guitar) and Joe Mauro (Bass/Vocals) working to form a band that would allow them to develop their musical and songwriting abilities. The band worked to develop their own sound by continually writing new music and playing venues in Philadelphia.
The summer of 2003 brought the departure of MorningSide’s drummer and lead guitar player. Through the help of some common friends, Ben Kless (Drums/Percussion), formally of Feedback, was added to the roster bringing his dynamic and energetic drumming to the band.
