Bio / Background
The Medics biography, for your reading pleasure...
Don Von Conrad met Will Vunderink at Buck's Rock camp during the summer of 2003, where they started making potions out of chemicals and music. They played together in several other groups for about 8 months, until at a party in New Jersey, the Don met Cameron Wisch and Adir Cohen. The three spent much time bonding over a keyboard, bombarding their third of the keys with their fingers. The first legitimate band practice consisted of massive explosions and ferocious dive-bomb attacks, nearly leveling the building that luckily still contains Funkadelic Studios. Soon after, they decided to call themselves the Medics. They began to play shows in NYC and New Jersey, building a loyal fan base of people who like to have fun, dance, and be bombarded by fuzzed-out guitars, heavy bass, and ridiculously energetic drumming.
