Meagin Donovan is a 'freak of nature' self-taught guitarist and vocalist. She's bringing down the house with an eclectic, acoustic folk punk with a twist of pop, rock, and alternative music.
Bio / Background
Singer/songwriter, Meagin Donovan’s charged, percussive, yet technically intricate acoustic guitar work and passionate singing seems effortless, and her energy, endless. Born in Noblesville, Indiana, Meagin has called the Pacific Northwest her home for years. One day in college, something inside Meagin caused her to pick up the acoustic guitar. Since then everything has made more sense. Completely self-taught, Meagin’s style is uninhibited, with influences in folk, rock, pop, punk, classical, and electronic music.
She has gigged all over western Washington. She writes relentlessly; her all-original sets can run up to two hours.
She has just finished recording her first EP, “Meet My Monster” with award winning producer/musician Electron Love Theory. Electron Love Theory heard a few of her lonely singer/songwriter songs and called to see if she would be down to record a song.
