The Blank Album: Hard to describe. The music starting making him, maybe. He broke through all the frames of song structure and style. He started surfing on the Andromeda Galaxy. Something like that.
Bio / Background
Dig this: You can put hydrogen cyanide, acetylene and water in a test tube, give them an appropriate surface on which to be concentrated and react, and you'll get a chemical stew of organic compounds which include amino acids and a DNA purine base, adenine. Of course, that's all it makes- a DNA gumbo. And that's all it is; not particularly tasty and certainly not as complicated as plants or animals or you. It's a lot easier to understand the contents of a test tube than it is to figure out how to make a living breathing wild creature.
Now, you can get a guitarist, a bass player, a drummer and a guy on keyboards, put 'em in a wardrobe of cool duds, give 'em great haircuts and let 'em write and record a few songs, add a lot of marketing and you'll get, well, contemporary rock music. It's not particularly tasty or compelling and it's certainly not as dynamic and vital as Michael Mcdaeth's
music.
