Sensual by Maria Lourdes

With this entire thing going on, she found the opportunity she had been waiting for and that was to work on television (with big channels such as Univision, Galavision, Telefutura, etc.) not for one channel but for more than four. As a co-host, model, dancer, actress, and singer/writer. With all these accomplishments she made her first American Movie as the protagonist in the film “Crossing the 09W17”. She has presented herself as singer/writer (ASCAP) in more than 52 different TV shows. María Lourdes has had the pleasure of singing in events, and concerts with more than 100,000 in the audience. María Lourdes is the youngest voice of The Cuban American National Foundation, founded by the leader Jorge Mas Canosa. She is also the image and model of the products of JC Hammer. She is now working in the international television show "Don Francisco Presenta" as the chorister of the band in the show. It shows on Univision every wednesday at 10pm. Thankful to all her accomplishments in such a short amount of time, she got the opportunity to record her first independent music production called “Sensual”, musically arranged by Jorge Arronte, and the great composer Roberto Hernández which previews 5 songs he has written, and 5 songs Maria Lourdes has written. María Lourdes was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on January 5,in the USA. At the simple age of 2 she started with her dance life in ballet, jazz, and tap. She then incorporated the rest modeling, hip-hop, belly dancing, lyrical, and Latin music. She then started in chorus and acting classes. Over the years she started to notice herself attracted to the whole entertainment business (television) getting herself noticed at the simple age of 4, showing her talent of dancing in front of millions. Shortly after, got involved in private singing lessons, and yearning to make her own songs. Even though she has had to deal with education, family, friends, and her music, modeling, television, acting life she always manages to look for the time and give her all to make a difference in her fans and in herself. “I think that life is precious, and you always have to have God in your heart, peace, and show love and positive attitude towards your fans and the audience.” –Maria Lourdes claims. She is planning to continue and go even further in her career and making the very best out of it.

Nacida en el seno de una familia de raíces artísticas, María Lourdes nació en Elizabeth, New Jersey, Estados Unidos el 5 de enero de 1989 .Desde la corta edad de 2 años comenzó con su vida artística, estudiando en reconocidas academias de baile, ballet, jazz, y tap. Más tarde incorporo, hip-hop, belly dancing, lyrical, música latina, modelaje y actuación.

A la edad de 4 años de edad mostró su talento a través de la televisión, haciendo sus propias coreografías de ballet y declamando, incorporándose así al mundo del entretenimiento. Luego comenzó clases privadas de canto y a componer sus propias canciones.

El tiempo pasó y tuvo un gran impacto en la reconocida competencia llamada Ídolo de Miami (Miami Idol) donde pretendieron más de 1000 personas. María llegó a ser de las últimas finalistas de este evento después de dos meses de competencia semanales. También fue finalista en la competencia mundial de belleza (World Beauty Championship) celebrada en Miami, Estados Unidos en el 2005. Como modelo es la figura que representa todos los productos de la compañía JC HAMMER. Además de ser modelo de múltiples programas en la cadena televisiva de Univision, tales como Premios Juventud (2004, 2005,2006).

Actualmente trabaja para más de 3 canales de televisión semanalmente como co-presentadora, actriz, cantautora modelo.Después de un riguroso casting obtuvo el papel principal de la cinta norteamericana “Crossing the 09W17” la cual será estrenada mundialmente en festivales de cines próximamente. También es la voz más joven de la Fundación Nacional Cubana Americana, fundada por el ya fallecido líder Jorge Mas Canosa. Trabaja todos los miércoles en Don Francisco Presenta en Univision cantando en la orquesta del show.

Como cantautora (ASCAP) se ha presentado en más de 52 diferentes programas de televisión. Ha tenido el honor de cantar en eventos, y conciertos con más de 100,000 personas de audiencia en N.Carolina Charlotte.Recientemente ha actuado en S.Carolina y Chicago y próximamente ira para Indianápolis,y al pais de Canada . Agradecida con todos estos acontecimientos en tan corto tiempo, obtuvo la oportunidad de grabar su primera producción musical independiente, titulada Sensual. Los arreglos musicales fueron por el maestro Jorge Arronte y el compositor Roberto Hernández. El CD incluye 10 temas musicales inéditos, de los cuales 5 fueron compuestos por María Lourdes y 5 por Roberto Hernández.

“Ha sido una bendición tener el CD en mis manos”, aclama María Lourdes teniendo una actitud positiva acerca de su carrera artística, queriendo así hacer una diferencia en la música y enseñarle al mundo quien es ella.Esta en la grabacion de su segundo cd que se llamara “Sin genero” donde recogera varias culturas y diferentes ritmos, un cd muy variado,acaba de lanzar su calendario bajo la confeccion de su fotografo “Baron DaParre” yu muy pronto su segundo Cd “Sin Genero” que va incluida musica como hip-hop,salsa,pop,nortena, banda,etc..donde todas las culturas quedaran muy complacidas ya que estara con varios numeros en español y otros en ingles.

Maria Lourdes werd geboren uit een artistieke familiekring in Elizabeth, New Jersey, op 5 januari 1989 in Amerika. Vanaf de jonge leeftijd van 2 jaar begon zij met haar artistieke leven, studerend op erkende dansscholen, ballet, jazz ballet en tapdansen. Veel later nam zij deel aan hip-hop, buikdansen, latijnse muziek, modelleren en toneel.

Op de leeftijd van 4 jaar toonde zij haar talent via televisie door haar eigen choreografies van ballet voor te dragen en zo begon haar deelname aan de wereld van amusement. Later begon zij met privé zanglessen en het componeren van haar eigen songteksten. De tijd ging snel voorbij en er kwam een groot effect op de bekende competitie genaamd Miami Idol waar meer dan 100,000 personen aan deelnamen. María eindigde als één van de laatste finalisten na een weekelijkse competitie van 2 maanden. Ook werd zij finaliste op de World Beauty Championship gevierd in Miami, Amerika, in 2005. Als model is zij degene die alle producten vertegenwoordigd van het bedrijf JC HAMMER. Bovendien is zij model van verscheidene programmas van de televisieketen Univision, zoals Premios Juventud (2004, 2005).

Tegenwoordig werkt zij wekelijks voor meer dan 3 televisiekanalen als co-presentatrice, actrice, zangeres, model en danseres. Na een strenge casting verkreeg zij de belangrijkste tape van de noordamerikaanse ¨Crossing the 09W17¨ dat wereldwijd voor het eerst in première zou gaan op filmfestivals. Als zangeres (ASCAP) heeft zij zich gepresenteerd in meer dan 52 verschillende televisieprogrammas. Zij heeft de eer gehad te mogen zingen op evenementen en concerten met meer dan 35000 personen aan toeschouwers. Dankbaar voor al deze gebeurtenissen in zo´n korte tijd, heeft zij de mogelijkheid gekregen om haar eerste musicale productie op te nemen, genaamd Sensual. De musicale compromis is tot stand gekomen door maestro Jorge Arronte en de componist Roberto Hernández. De CD bestaat uit 10 onuitgegeven musicale thema´s waarvan 5 gecomponeerd zijn door María Lourdes en 5 door Roberto Hernández.
