Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Richie Furay, who founded Buffalo Springfield and Poco helped order the tracks on Aquila. "To me there was no question as I listened that that Child of the Wind should be the closer, other favorites include Center of Light and Soul Purpose. Good job, good musicians. Laurie was born May 4, 1967 in Kalispel, Montana. She went to high school in Custer, South Dakota, Littleton, Colorado and Los Lunas, New Mexico.

She has been on stage with Jefferson Airplane, Mick Fleetwood's Zoo and members of Country Joe and the Fish. She has won awards for her bass playing in several jazz contests.

Her song Feather Dancer was a top video in Albuquerque, NM.

Laurie ran twice for the Arizona House of Representatives and has been a web designer for several candidates from Congressional Races to Governor.

Laurie has also worked in state and city government, education and for Kitt Peak National Observatory. Currently, she is the Operations Manager for two radio stations in Phoenix.
