Remnants is the self-produced debut album from the musical duo known as Invasive. Sounding like Nine Inch Nails, Radiohead, A Perfect Circle, and LCD Soundsystem all fighting it out atop the rugged beats of DJ Shadow, this is mood music for the reflective soul. The record is a throwback to how records used to be made - a cohesive cycle of songs that flows from start to finish, the next track picking up where the previous one left off. Over its 13 tracks the album treads the fine line between dark and light, providing the soundtrack to the duo's efforts to learn from the past and move forward.
