"Christmas Harp 2", a sequel to harpist Cindy Horstman's "Christmas Harp" (which cracked Amazon's Top 30 emerging Pop Artists Chart), is Cindy's approach to Christmas exactly the way it should be celebrated - solo harp in a warm, natural way playing peacefully yet slightly jazzy. Impeccably recorded and mastered by Engineer/Producer, Michael Medina, this CD cuts the anxiety and commercialism of Christmas with it's simplicity and beauty.
This one - Christmas Harp 2 - is in my opinion even better than Cindy Horstman's first "Christmas Harp" CD, but my Christmas CD collection would be incomplete without both of them. I pull these CD's out this time of year when I need de-grinching and I want to get into the right seasonal spirit. They do the job, too.
Energetic but not frenetic, beautifully arranged and impeccably performed, these songs work as background music and are also total ear treats when you crank up the volume and really listen to them.
