Bio / Background
Ha Tran graduated from the Hanoi School of Performing Arts in 1995 and the Hanoi National Conservatory of Music in 2000. In 1994, Ha won the Voice of Vietnamese Professional Student Contest at the age of 17, and she followed that by winning the National Professional Singer Contest in 1995. Since then, she has won various national awards such as Best New Voice and the Rising Star Award. Ha Tran was voted as the most promising young singer in Vietnam in 1996 and 1997. Ha has been consistently voted by the national media and public as one of the top ten singers in Vietnam since 1998. She has also been voted as one of the four top divas in Vietnam since 2002.
Ha has performed throughout Vietnam in more than 20 countries including France, Russia, Australia, and the US. She has performed with renowned international musicians such as UK jazz musician Ian Shaw, American country music legend Lobo, and others.
