Bio / Background

Hate in the Box is a five piece all live whirl-a-gig of musical mayhem, a perfect picture of innocence lost and childhood memories shattered. Blaspheming the boundaries of the NYC underground, their music is often likened to punk, rock, goth, and industrial while angering the purists of each. Outrageous costumes, outlandish visuals and a rocking energetic delivery have led to bookings at such infamous establishments as Limelight, China Club, CBGB's, Spirit and Webster Hall for their monstrously melodic travelling carnival-from-hell performance. They've crept out of the toychest yet again to deliver unto the world Razorblade Fairytales.

Razorblade Fairytales is a highly charged album delving further into vocalist/lyricist Rainbow Blight's twisted world of dolls, decay and death. Every song tells a story, either bestowing old tales with a shocking, morbid twist or weaving brand new tales for a decidedly grown-up storybook.
