Whither can a lover go but to the land of his beloved?
Bio / Background
From its light hearted look at human voracity and insatiability in its first track "Lark," to its serious meditative consideration of the evanescence of life in its last track "Passage," this album is a melodic reflection on human life, contemplating the a wide range of desires, fears, hopes aspirations and passions that define humankind.
Much like the human spirit itself, this album merges several seeming contradictions into an integral whole. Its melodies are at times exhilarating, optimistic and cheerful, and at times sorrowful, meditative and sober.
"Exile" is an exquisite synthesis of contemporary and traditional Middle Eastern styles. Its melodies journey back and forth between the two styles elegantly and effortlessly, and as such are sure to please audiences and connoisseurs of both genres.

Another lovely album by Farzad Farhangimoonray wrote on February 22, 2008
Almost every track on this album is great. Oh... maybe except Insurrection which is only a tiny bit doubtful. But I have no doubts about the rest and totally love Passage, Quartet and Rohabeh Jon. This music is very clear and emotive and comes from an obviously talented artist and group. I hope there's more of the same on the way!
