Bio / Background
The Effects are a pure rock and roll band that has toured independently for two years across the United States and Canada. In 2006 The Effects played over 200 shows and shared the stage with Phantom Planet, Kings of Leon, The Kentucky Headhunters, Cowboy Mouth, Hanson, Velvet Revolver, The Burden Brothers, Ingram Hill, The Stills, Blue October and Limbeck. The Effects performed in 2006 at SXSW(Autin,Tx), NEMO(Boston), Dfest(Tulsa), Mobfest(Chicago), Mayfest(Tulsa), and IPO(NYC). The band recently signed a production deal with Jeff Saltzman (producer of The Killers, Black Keys, Smashmouth, Rancid, The Deftones, and managed Green Day), and released a 5 song ep (Mixed by Mark Needham).
