Bio / Background
"REALLY great album! I can't get over how GOOD it sounds." [Charles Howe, Expect A Miracle Records] ... "Brilliant" [Trash City News]
PS150 is Derek Richard's vision of rock music, dedicated to praising and worshiping our Lord Jesus Christ. The California based Christian rocker writes his own music and records with some of Nashville's hottest musicians. As a single father, musician, and a successful Silicon Valley engineer, Derek keeps God at the center of his daily life.
"I've lived life with and without God. I'm here to tell you, life is way better with Jesus" says the 30 something rocker. PS150's debut CD is straight up rock-n-roll. With blistering guitar solos and plenty of power chords, this album is reminiscent of 80's & 90's classic rock hits.
Encouraged by the Praise Team at his local church, Derek credits much of his musical success to their ministry. "I just showed up one day with a Les Paul, a Mesa Nomad and one seriously distorted tone.
