Bio / Background
In a sea of grouchy nu-metal bands and aspiring radioheads, one band charts its own course. Though they hail from Fort Worth, TX, Darth Vato generates the kind of vibe you'd expect to find at a North Shore house party. Darth Vato's mix of reggae, ska, and old skool punk is like trash-can punch--the sweet stuff, the good stuff, and the tough stuff mixed in a road-crew cooler, guaranteed to give you a killer buzz.
Darth Vato have been mixing it up around DFW for the last two years, gaining fans and notoriety for their distinctive sound and live show. In addition to packing local venues, the band has also appeared on local radio and internet spots, not to mention the opening slot on the Dallas stop of Authority Zero and Pepper's national tour. Armed with a new album, and a tour of the west coast under their belt, Darth Vato is sure to be one of the bands to look out for.
