Jazz meets pop, sweet sax and female vocals, and top-notch song writing and production values.
Bio / Background
This is Daniel McBrearty's first album, DanMcB, released in 1995. There are four tracks, two which feature guest vocalist Rudo Shoniwa, and two are pure instrumental. In addition, there are impeccable contributions from Mark Anderson (bass guitar), Chris Newland (electric guitar), Steve Kelly (keyboards) and Robert Anderson (percussion).
As well as playing alto and tenor sax on it, Dan wrote and produced all the songs. As well as the musical content, the production and sound quality received praise and airplay on its release, from UK recording magazines 'The Mix' and 'Sound On Sound' and Jazz FM DJ's Robbie Vincent.

But I think that what we did is quality music, and that's what I care about.
↓ more ↓My focus has moved much more towards trying to become a good live performer since then, that's all part of developing as an artist. But, looking back, I'm happy and pleased with that CD. Now for the next one ..."
