Bio / Background
Christine was born in Frankfurt, Germany in 1962, but grew up in Colorado, graduating with a business degree from the University of Colorado. She discovered her love for the piano at an early age, taking classical piano lessons and accompanying vocal groups during her school years. Christine was moved and inspired after hearing her first George Winston album in college. But it wasn't until years later, after the loss of her mother, that Christine began composing and pursuing her lifelong passion. With no formal training in music composition, Christine uses the piano to voice emotions and experiences.
"Piano Stories" is a introspective collection of new songs and also several songs featured on her Sugo Records piano compilation albums, "Piano Portraits" and "Summer Stories". Those CD's are no longer in production, yet Christine continues to get requests for this music. Reflecting similar images and emotion, this incredible music combines heartfelt stories, told on the piano.
