Adult Contemporary, Singer/songwriter, Pop/Folk primarily acoustic guitar with smooth vocals.
Bio / Background
Adult contemporary singer/songwriter and former NY teacher Bud Buckley has emptied his schoolbag into a new CD, Feel My Love. If Bob Dylan ever managed to swallow Paul Simon and Jose Feliciano and their guitars, it would sound like Bud. Now living in Florida he sings of torture by nuns, the anguish of young and unyoung girls he still counsels, the pain of good-byes, the sweetness of homecomings and living with hurricanes. His acoustic guitar and smooth vocals contrast with sometimes searing, sometimes waw-wawing Telecaster lines. His pop style is at times folk/rock or traditional ballad. Whether he's drawing a laugh or a tear, he's a good listen.
