When asked, "What kind of music do you play?" Brown's Bag reply is simply SOUL.

With airwaves and the market place filled with Hip Hop and Rap, Brown's Bag quest to keep "SOUL" in music cuts through and strikes the very heart of you.

Brown's Bag from Chicago, Illinois are multi-instrumentalists and vocalists, Ward Brown and Sherrod Brown.

Having owned and operated Early Park, LTD recording studios and worked with industry professionals such as Al Hudson and One Way, Latanya, the late Pop Staples to name a few, Brown's Bag is not new to the music industry or to "SOUL" music.

The Duo deemed "Defenders of Soul" offers their first release "Labor of Love" as testimony of that.

In an effort to address the question, 'where has all the real music gone?' Brown's Bag says that you'll find it right here.

With help from friends (Leroy Hurst / Relentless Productions), Marvin Weatherspoon (Chi-Lites, Delfonics, Emotions, etc.) and others Brown's Bag brings you "Labor of Love".
