The March/April edition of Australian Guitar magazine featured the following review;
"MELBOURNE guitarist and teacher Brendan Hains is a musician with a huge imagination. This album is a collection of instrumental compositions performed with various guest musicians...and it is as the name suggests,an exploration of various modes combining jazz, world, classical and prog influences... While Hains' reinterpretation of John Mclaughlin's "Lotus Feet" is hypnotising, his own rich compositions, which also make use of electric, tenor guitar and guitar synth, are the real highlights here. A superior journey in moody, modal composition." Karl Mayerhofer
Brendan plays Alhambra guitars and uses equipment by Billy Hydes Main St. and Somerton stores.
