The Gryffyn band has a very long and varied history. Check out Gryffyn's entry in the Pacific Northwest Bands web site ( http://pnwbands.com/gryffin.html ) for a complete list of band members. This web site represents Gryffyn's last incarnation. The nucleuses of the band, Sean Denton, Mark Talbott and Rick Mutter, have been playing together off and for over three decades; bassist, Jim Collins, joined the group in April of 2005. This project's mission is to write and record original modern blues. Always with a twist. :)
The band released its first CD of all original material, ?Am I Blue? in the spring of 2005 and followed up the effort with their fall of 2007 release ?No Apologies? with great acceptance, not only locally, but internationally as well. ?Am I Blue? and ?No Apologies? both made the top 25 heavy rotation on Amsterdam's Blues Ears Radio.
