Ariel is a 9 year old musician living in Jerusalem, Israel. His interests encompass classical music and jazz. Catch his site at www.arielpiano.com.
Ariel has been trained in classical piano since he was 5 years old. He discovered jazz at the age of 7 when he accidentally clicked on an Earl Hines link in Encarta. He was instantly hooked. A few months later he started studying jazz with bassist Jean Claude Jones, and played his first session on his 8th birthday.
31 Bars captures Ariel's playing and composition in the half year before his 9th birthday (31 Bars was released in October 2006, on Ariel's 9th birthday).
